SOLES4SOULS - When you donate shoes and clothing, you're caring for the planet and changing someone's lives. You can drop off your items at a physical location or ship them for free with Zappos for Good.
CASA - Provides services to working class and immigrant families - national organization that is also available by each state.
For Days - You can organize clothing you no longer use to be sent to their facility to reduce waste so that fibers are not stuck in landfills.
Zappos for Good - Organizing your shoes through this program so that they don't end up in landfills.
FabScrap - Looking for volunteers to assist in organizing commercial fabric scrap waste so it doesn't clog our landfills.

ARCHIVED SERVICE: MARKETPLACE X CHARITY | NEW YORK CARES’ COAT DRIVE
There are a number of people in NYC that need a coat and there are various ways that you can help to ensure that your community stays warm! You can donate$25 or more. For every$25, you are purchasing a brand new coat and 10 meals a person to someone that is in need! In addition, you canal so create a fundraiser to collect funds towards this essential cause. If you have coats that you no longer wish to wear or have a new coat that has never been worn, you can also bring them to convenient drop off centers throughout the city. Make sure that you look at the drop-off map belowwhich is updated every Mon-Thurs so that you have the most accurate information on where you need to go. For those dropping off coats that are not brand new and have never been worn, make sure toad here to these guidelines:
Wash coats in soap and water or dry clean at the highest temperature possible without damaging the coat.
Store coats in a dark plastic bog or box to reduce contact.
Call ahead before visiting your desired location
Make sure that you visit New York Cares if you are interested in volunteering your time to the cause as there may be opportunities to assist at location sites and/or the warehouses that distribute these much needed items.’
